Job Details:
We are looking for a Manufacturing Assembler to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. In this role, you will work with a close-knit and experienced team to assemble and produce various parts and components to complete the manufacture of high-value (and highly complex) robotic equipment and machinery. You will collaborate with senior team members and work under their technical direction to achieve tasks including the assembly and fabrication of mechanical or electrical components, cleaning, and crating of products in readiness for shipping – ensuring our manufacturing area is organized and efficient.
Key Responsibilities:
– Assemble and produce parts and components for robotic equipment and machinery
– Collaborate with senior team members and work under technical direction
– Clean and create products for shipping
– Maintain an organized and efficient manufacturing area
Qualifications Needed:
– Experience safely using hand and power tools
– Experience with accurate measuring, electrical assembly, and testing
– Experience assembling mechanical and electrical equipment
– Basic IT proficiency
Experience:
– Experience in a manufacturing or assembly facility
– Experience in the maintenance of vehicles (desirable)
– Trade-qualified skill or tertiary Engineering qualification (desirable)
– Forklift license (desirable)
– Experience in different IT operating systems, e.g., Linux/Ubuntu (desirable)
Skills:
– Good common sense
– Ability to follow instructions
– Excellent communication abilities
