Job Description/Overview:
You will join the Management Committee of the House of Training to lead the Manufacturing & Services department as well as an experienced and dynamic team of training advisors, whose main mission is to build, coordinate, and promote a Continuing Professional Education offer tailored to the current and future needs of the Manufacturing & Services sectors.
The Manufacturing & Services department covers several training areas, including Architecture, Commerce, HoReCa (Hotel, Restaurant, Catering), Real Estate, Industry, Occupational Health and Safety, and Transport.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development: Identify and analyze the skill needs of the Manufacturing & Services sectors to define a sectoral business strategy;
Evolve the existing client portfolio and enhance sector recognition;
Advise and support companies and develop sectoral partnerships in Continuing Professional Education.
Development and Management of
Training Programs: Ensure service performance by developing and monitoring the annual budget, profitability, and activity tracking;
Develop sectoral training programs in line with sector skill needs;
Identify the most relevant educational tools to foster application and program effectiveness;
Ensure the operational management of one or two training areas.
Team Management: Manage and support a team of training advisors to develop the training offer, achieve set objectives, and establish a relationship of trust;
Contribute to the personal development and skill enhancement of team members by guiding them with exemplary behavior, cohesion, and commitment.
As a member of the Management
Committee: Actively participate in continuous improvement projects at the House of Training by adopting transformative leadership;
Participate in the deployment of performance indicators;
Contribute to the operational deployment of the House of Training’s strategy.
Qualifications needed
- You hold a Master’s degree;
- You have successful experience in managerial, commercial, and pedagogical leadership of a service dedicated to Continuing Professional Education, a unit related to employment themes, or one of the preferred activity sectors of the Manufacturing & Services department;
- You possess excellent knowledge of educational engineering;
- You have excellent socio-economic culture and a good understanding of the challenges faced by economic actors in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg;
- You have excellent organizational and communication skills;
- You have excellent written and oral expression skills in French and English;
- Knowledge of Luxembourgish and German is a real asset.
