Job Description/Overview:
As a Dairy Farm Worker, you will focus on milking cattle, ranching and farming, including feeding lots. Also pay attention to all weather conditions to make sure they are suitable for farm animals
Key Responsibilities
Handling animals
Monitoring animal health
Prepare a clean, dry area for cows that are calving
Feed and tend animals
Maintain livestock performance records
Milk cows
Clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens
Perform general farm duties
Qualifications needed
Equipment and machinery experience especially Farm truck
Work conditions and physical capabilities
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work under pressure and physically demanding environment.
Repetitive tasks, attention to detail, handling heavy loads and Combination of sitting, standing, walking.
Large workload overtime required, sitting, standing for extended periods as well as Walking, bending, crouching and kneeling
Education:
No degree, certificate or diploma
