Job Description:
Mean Poutine, a family-run restaurant specializing in gourmet poutines and hot dogs, is opening a new location at Yonge and Sheppard Centre. We’re seeking a dedicated Fast Food Restaurant Supervisor to join our team. This role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring high standards of customer service, staff management, food quality, cleanliness, and overall operational success.
Responsibilities:
– Assist in managing all aspects of restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and health and safety compliance.
– Ensure the restaurant meets or exceeds performance standards for food quality, service, and cleanliness.
– Supervise and train restaurant staff to ensure high performance and morale.
– Address customer concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring excellent customer service.
– Monitor customer feedback and report to the store owner.
– Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
– Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager and other supervisors to achieve operational goals.
– Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Qualifications:
– Previous supervisory experience in the food service industry preferred.
– Strong leadership and team management skills.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
– Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations (training provided).
– Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
