Job Description/Overview:
At Roofing Tech Canberra, we pride ourselves on delivering top-quality metal roofing solutions to our valued clients. With a commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction. We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Metal Roofer to join our fun, passionate and solution driven crew.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation of residential metal roofing, cladding, downpipes, fascia, gutters, leaf guard, roof flashings and whirlybirds.
- Working with an inspection schedule to meet clients and accurately locate leaks, and provide solutions to existing problems found on metal roofs.
- Conducting measuring and drawing of required flashings & material requirements for jobs.
- Liaising with internal management and supervisors to ensure best results and standards.
Qualifications needed
- Personal Vehicle and Valid Driver’s License.
- Working at Heights, White card, Asbestos Awareness, Silica Awareness.
- Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Well presented, with good communication skills with clients.
Experience
- EWP (Elevated Work Platform License)
- Roof Plumbing Certification.
- First Aid Certified.
- Experience in Roof Tiling.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience.
- Working at Heights, Construction Card required to commence
Skills
- Excellent with people skills and have the ability to effectively communicate internally and to clients in a friendly professional manner.
- Physically suited and motivated to work outdoors and in construction environments.
- Self-motivated, punctual, flexible and reliable.
- Knowledgeable on safety procedures and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace.
- Career driven, with sound morals & strong work ethic.
