About the Role
As the Senior Cook for our Kingpin Queenstown venue, you will assist in leading our kitchen team with a passionate and nurturing style.
Key Responsibilities:
– Train and develop our team of Cooks.
– Prepare and cook food in the kitchen.
– Champion and enforce hygiene regulations.
– Monitor food preservation and ensure quality.
– Support the Head Chef with occasional food and supply orders.
– Ensure the quality of food served to our guests through collaboration and discussion with the Head Chef and team of Cooks.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will:
– Be a true team player and leader with sound knowledge of how a high-volume kitchen operates.
– Have at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role or a New Zealand Level 4 Certificate in Cookery.
– Be passionate about striving for perfection when executing the menu to give our guests a consistently remarkable experience.
– Be highly organised and able to work under pressure to effortlessly create amazing experiences for our corporate and social group bookings.
– Be driven by high standards and able to instill the same pride in your team.
