Job Description:
Westbank First Nation is seeking a Community Home & Health Nurse for a casual, part-time position in Kelowna, BC. This role offers competitive pay and the chance to work in a community-focused healthcare environment.
Responsibilities:
– Provide home and community health nursing services
– Deliver care to patients in their homes and community settings
– Perform health assessments, develop care plans, and provide patient education
– Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community organizations
– Ensure that care delivery meets the standards of practice and safety requirements
Qualifications:
– Registered Nurse (R.N.) designation
– Current registration with the nursing regulatory body in British Columbia
– Previous experience in community or home health nursing is preferred
– Strong communication and organizational skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
