The Faculty of Health and Environmental Sciences at Auckland University of Technology (AUT) is looking for dedicated Clinical Educators to join our School of Clinical Sciences. We have multiple permanent part-time positions available, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to the development of clinical education in our Bachelor of Health Science (Nursing) and Master of Nursing Science programmes.
Job Description
As a Clinical Educator, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of nursing by providing high-quality clinical education to our students. These positions are annualised and require nurse educators with a minimum of a PG certificate in a qualification related to Nursing.
Key Responsibilities
– Contribute to clinical education in Nursing programmes
– Model best clinical practice
– Inspire and support students’ achievement
– Communicate effectively with students and faculty
– Be clinically current in New Zealand
– Utilize IT skills for educational purposes
Qualifications
– Minimum of a PG certificate in a qualification related to Nursing
– Current NCNZ practising certificate
– Recent clinical experience in New Zealand
– Commitment to ongoing professional development
– High level of cultural sensitivity and knowledge of kawa and tikanga Māori and mātauranga Māori (Māori knowledge) is desired
