Job Description
Rollers Bakery is seeking an experienced baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of baking experience in a commercial bakery or cafe kitchen, with knowledge of sourdough and pastry baking.
Key Responsibilities
– Croissant and Pastry Production: Prepare and bake croissants and various pastries.
– Sourdough Production: Make and bake sourdough bread.
– Baking: Bake loaves and other baked goods to high standards.
– Pie Production: Prepare and bake pies.
– General Duties: Maintain cleanliness of the bakery, wash dishes, and demonstrate a good attitude and strong work ethic.
Qualifications
– Minimum of 3 years of baking experience in a commercial setting.
– Knowledge of sourdough and pastry baking.
– Chef experience is a bonus but not required.
– Valid visa for New Zealand (sponsorship is not offered).
Working Hours
– Full-time position.
– Early morning shifts, such as 12 am – 8 am or 2 am – 10 am.
– Responsible for preparing and baking all bread and pastries for the day.
Compensation
– $26.50 – $30 per hour, depending on experience.
