Houston Food Market is seeking a Food Service Supervisor to oversee and coordinate food service activities. This full-time, permanent position involves managing staff, ensuring quality control, and maintaining schedules.
Key Responsibilities
– Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
– Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
– Estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
– Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
– Supervise and check assembly of trays
– Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys
– Establish work schedules
Qualifications Needed
– Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience:
– 2 years to less than 3 years
Skills:
– Strong supervisory skills
– Knowledge of food preparation and portion control
– Ability to train and manage staff
– Attention to detail and quality control
