About the Role
As the Director of Sales & Marketing, you will be a pivotal member of our Leadership Team, responsible for steering the front-end of the business. Your role will involve generating leads, qualifying opportunities, and working with your team to achieve sales and margin targets. You will also be tasked with building long-term business relationships and contributing to strategic planning for our company’s growth.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive business development and tactical sales plans. Build and maintain strong client relationships and support your team in pursuing new business opportunities.
Business Development: Identify and cultivate new markets and high-value partners. Represent the company at networking events, trade shows, and industry conferences. Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals.
Strategic Planning: Contribute to the company’s strategic planning efforts. Analyze sales metrics, marketing campaign effectiveness, and market conditions to drive decision-making.
Marketing Management: Lead the marketing team and manage outsourced resources. Create and implement marketing strategies, oversee digital marketing efforts, content creation, branding, and advertising campaigns.
Team Management and Development: Provide leadership, coaching, and development opportunities for the sales and marketing teams. Foster a collaborative and high-performance environment.
Requirements
– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
– Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales and marketing, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
– Proven track record in the manufacturing and/or construction industry.
– Strong understanding of sales processes, marketing strategies, and business development techniques.
– Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
– Proficiency in CRM software, marketing automation tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
– Superb communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
