The Opportunity

We are searching for a Director of Sales & Marketing to lead our sales and marketing efforts with a focus on maximizing revenue, enhancing brand recognition, and delivering an outstanding guest experience. If you are a dynamic leader with a passion for hospitality and a knack for developing innovative strategies, we want you on our team!

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy Development: Design and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue goals and maximize profitability. Identify new business opportunities and build strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, and local partners.

Marketing Campaigns: Create and execute marketing campaigns to boost brand awareness and drive direct bookings. Develop targeted promotions, advertising initiatives, and digital marketing strategies to engage our target audience.

Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a high-performing sales team. Set clear goals, provide ongoing guidance, and foster a positive work environment that encourages professional growth and development.

Revenue Management: Collaborate with the Revenue Management team to analyze market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies. Use data insights to optimize room rates, revenue streams, and occupancy levels.

Public Relations: Establish and maintain relationships with local media, influencers, and industry professionals. Manage public relations efforts to enhance the hotel’s reputation and visibility.

Partnerships and Collaborations: Identify and develop partnerships with brands, businesses, and organizations to create unique guest experiences and increase brand exposure. Negotiate and manage contracts to ensure beneficial outcomes for both parties.

Budgeting and Reporting: Develop and manage the sales and marketing budget. Monitor key performance metrics and prepare detailed reports for senior management, providing insights and strategic recommendations.

Guest Experience: Work with the Guest Services and Operations teams to ensure a seamless and exceptional guest experience. Continuously seek opportunities to improve guest satisfaction and loyalty.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Administration, Business, or a related field. A diploma in Hotel Management Studies is preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of sales leadership experience in the hospitality industry, with at least 2 years in a Director or higher-level role. Experience with BT and Association segments is a plus.

Skills: Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Proficiency in Delphi, Microsoft Office Suite, and Salesforce is required.

Attributes: Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset. Ability to inspire and lead a team, manage multiple projects, and adapt to changing market conditions. Demonstrated success in sales and marketing, with a commitment to upholding the hotel’s brand values and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Additional Requirements: Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
