The Position: Order-to-Cash (OtC) Associate Specialist – Lisbon
Location: Lisbon, Portugal
Role Overview:
As an Order-to-Cash (OtC) Associate Specialist, you will report to the OTC Regional Manager. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all OtC processes and transactions adhere to accounting standards, policies, SOX, and statutory requirements. You will manage OtC operations within a regional scope, collaborating with our BPO partner, Organon Customers, and Organon Markets to fully understand our customers’ needs and business dynamics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver services in accordance with agreed Service Level, Controls, and Governance.
- Manage process risk by adhering to policies and internal controls, complying with OtC guidelines, and ensuring timely and accurate execution of process and SOX controls.
- Maintain complete and accurate standard operating procedures and related internal control documentation.
- Focus on process improvement, supporting the implementation of best practices and project management discipline.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance with US GAAP and company policies.
- Support training, accuracy, and timely delivery of work outputs.
- Engage with process owners and other GSS Center colleagues to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
- Maintain professional and detailed process documentation such as global SOPs and Regional Work Instructions in coordination with the OtC Global Process Owner.
Support Internal Stakeholders:
- Partner with stakeholders to define objectives, align expectations, and ensure an “end to end” approach to process change and improvements.
- Provide ‘world-class customer service’ to customers, fellow employees, and stakeholders.
- Manage relationships through collaboration, negotiation, and influence.
Required Education, Experience, and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Fluency in English.
