Position Overview
We are seeking Freelance Writers to adapt existing novels into engaging, emotionally-driven stories with romantic elements. Writers will play a key role in creating content for our interactive platform, working in a fast-paced, startup environment. This is a fully remote, contract-based position perfect for candidates with creative writing, prose, and screenwriting backgrounds, especially those passionate about romance, drama, and paranormal genres.
Responsibilities
- Adapt existing novels into compelling, addictive interactive stories with romantic elements.
- Comfortably write and adapt explicit content for the platform.
- Collaborate with team leads and receive constructive feedback on projects.
- Work in a fast-paced startup environment, managing quick turnarounds and meeting deadlines.
- Participate in regular team check-ins and contribute to a collaborative creative process.
Requirements
- A gifted wordsmith with the ability to craft engaging, emotional stories.
- Pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing, Fine Arts, History, or a related field.
- Avid reader of romance, drama, and paranormal genres, with a strong passion for storytelling.
- Open to working on a short-term contract basis with flexibility and adaptability.
- Comfortable working in a remote, team-oriented environment with regular communication.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of East Asian storytelling platforms, such as web novels, e-readers, romance apps, or television shows.
