Job Description/Overview
Medforce Healthcare Recruitment is seeking a Senior Social Worker to join a dedicated team offering comprehensive health and social services to adults who are vulnerable or at risk of abuse. Based in Crumlin, this role provides an opportunity to collaborate with a committed team in safeguarding and empowering service users.
Key Responsibilities
Operate within current legislation, policies, procedures, and ethical principles.
Perform psycho-social assessments and implement evidence-based practices.
Partner with service users to co-create intervention strategies.
Manage and prioritize a diverse caseload.
Offer emotional and practical support, tailored to the needs of service users and their families.
Promote self-reliance, independence, and advocacy among clients.
Plan and deliver community-focused prevention and health promotion activities.
Engage in leadership for community needs assessments and interventions.
Qualifications
CORU Registration (mandatory).
Full driving license and access to a car.
Experience
Previous experience working with vulnerable adults is desirable but not required.
Skills
Strong communication and advocacy skills.
Ability to manage complex caseloads.
Commitment to empowering service users and enhancing their well-being.
