Job Description/Overview:
The Clinical Research Coordinator will oversee clinical trials at the Eye Center, focusing on ophthalmic imaging. This full-time role involves coordinating trial documentation, participant recruitment, and compliance with study protocols within the Department of Ophthalmology and Vision Science.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and submit documents to the Institutional Review Board (IRB)
Recruit, consent, and screen study participants
Schedule clinical treatments and follow-ups
Maintain study data and regulatory documents
Ensure quality assurance in projects and support the Research Supervisor
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience in Ophthalmology imaging or clinical trials
Knowledge of ophthalmic anatomy and imaging processes
Familiarity with Good Clinical Practices (GCP) in Clinical Trials
Proficient in Microsoft Office and EPIC EMR
Experience:
Experience in ophthalmic photography, digital imaging, and using Electronic Data Capture (EDC) programs is preferred.
Skills:
Excellent organizational and writing skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Basic math skills for accounting purposes

Salary Range: $32.01 – $51.48 per hour
Full-time position with union representation and benefits eligibility
