Position: Senior Audit Associate

Job Description/Overview:
In this role, you will plan and implement parts of the Risk & Control Services plan, focusing on audit activities and SOX/ISAE3402/SOC compliance tasks. You will evaluate and improve risk management, control, and governance processes, identify control deficiencies, and recommend effective solutions. This position involves presenting objectives and results to various levels of management and coordinating with internal and external control groups.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and execute less complex portions of the Risk & Control Services plan, including audit and compliance activities
Gather input for risk assessments in alignment with department standards
Present results to different management levels
Identify control deficiencies, assess exposure, and propose cost-effective recommendations
Monitor and validate Management Action Plans and recommend their closure upon completion
Build and maintain strong relationships within Asset Management
Qualifications:
Qualified or part-qualified accountant
Advanced knowledge in a field requiring intellectual instruction and judgment
Experience:
Experience in public accounting, internal audit, technology audit, or a related financial services field
Skills:
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to build and maintain relationships across teams and jurisdictions
Preferred Certifications:
CISA, CISSP, CIA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA
Additional Experience:
Experience leading small to mid-sized projects
