Job Description/Overview:
MFT is seeking flexible, compassionate Nursing Assistants to support patient care at Wythenshawe and Trafford Hospitals. You’ll assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, eating, and drinking, while working closely with Registered Nurses. This role involves day and night shifts across 7 days a week, with opportunities to progress from Band 2 to Band 3 through the Support Worker Development Programme.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide personal care to patients (e.g., toileting, dressing, bathing).
Record patient observations and report changes in condition.
Work compassionately with patients, families, and the multi-disciplinary team.
Qualifications:
Willing to undertake MFT’s Nursing Assistant Development Programme, including the Care Certificate.
Experience:
Previous experience in healthcare is desirable, though not essential.
Experience working within a healthcare environment is an advantage.
Skills:
Strong communication skills with patients, families, and colleagues.
Flexibility to work day, night, and weekend shifts.

Additional Information:
Full-time and part-time roles available (37.5 hours per week).
Salary: £23,615 – £25,674 per annum, pro rata.
