The Role:
AG1 is looking for a forward-thinking AI Strategist to lead and shape our AI-driven search, SEO, and creative strategies within the Acquisition and Paid Media team. The AI Strategist will develop innovative, AI-powered strategies that enhance the performance and efficiency of our paid media campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of AI technologies, the ability to analyze data, and the strategic vision to craft scalable solutions that drive measurable results.
As an AI Strategist, you will collaborate closely with Paid Media, Tech, Analytics, Customer Insights, and Brand & Creative teams. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage AI technologies in digital marketing, experiment with emerging tools, and optimize strategies to drive growth at AG1.
Responsibilities:
- AI-Powered Marketing: Lead AI-driven digital marketing strategies to improve the performance of paid media campaigns, focusing on SEO/AEO (Answer Engine Optimization).
- AI Search Strategies: Develop strategies to appear in AI searches across platforms like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini, optimizing both organic and sponsored content.
- Collaboration: Partner closely with agencies and AI platforms to optimize campaigns across various platforms.
- Data-Driven Optimization: Use data and AI technologies to drive measurable improvements in key performance metrics, providing actionable insights for campaign refinement.
- Emerging Technology Integration: Experiment with AI tools to enhance paid media and creative efforts.
- Cross-Functional Integration: Lead efforts to integrate AI-driven insights into overall marketing strategies, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Knowledge Sharing: Share best practices, learnings, and AI-driven insights within the team to continuously improve marketing strategies.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in search marketing.
- Strong understanding of AI technologies and their potential to optimize digital marketing, particularly in search and answer engines.
- Experience with SEO, paid search, and familiarity with AEO and answer engines.
- Expertise in AI Large Language Models such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity.
- Proven ability to translate data into actionable insights and measurable results.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to align AI strategies with business goals.
- A proactive, results-driven mindset, with a passion for exploring new AI technologies.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

AG1 is dedicated to equitable and competitive compensation packages, including base salary, performance bonuses, and stock options for eligible roles. The base salary for this position ranges from $85,000 – $110,000, depending on the candidate’s experience and skills.
