Job Description/Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Service Delivery Manager (SDM) to lead a critical client project. The role involves the seamless delivery of IT services, from datacenter operations to public cloud middleware platforms. The successful candidate will drive operational excellence, ensuring services are delivered on time, meet SLAs, and exceed client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational leadership: Manage day-to-day operations to ensure smooth service delivery aligned with contracts and performance standards.
Team management: Oversee staffing, performance reviews, and career development for your team.
Coordination & communication: Serve as the bridge between project management, technical teams, and stakeholders.
Service delivery: Ensure all services remain on track, hitting targets and maintaining high service quality.
Customer support: Act as the primary point of contact for the client’s operational needs.
Continuous improvement: Innovate strategies to optimise efficiency and service quality.
Resource management: Manage staffing needs and recruitment processes.
Incident & problem management: Lead incident resolution to minimise interruptions and ensure swift recovery.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
Experience:
8+ years in IT service operations, with 3+ years in leadership roles.
Experience in datacenter operations, public cloud platforms, and middleware technologies.
Agile/SAFe experience is required.
Skills:
Leadership and team management.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to interface with technical teams, senior management, and clients.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Customer-focused approach with a track record of building strong relationships.
