Job Description/Overview:
As the public face of Commonwealth Bank’s Retail Banking Services (RBS) team, the Customer Service Representative delivers a seamless banking experience to more than 10 million customers. The role will involve interacting with personal and small business customers, supporting them with their banking needs, and contributing to improving their financial wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to customers’ transactional banking needs.
Process transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, bank cheques, and transfers.
Educate customers about in-branch technology and digital banking.
Adhere to bank processes and risk procedures.
Maintain ATMs and support cash balancing and reconciliation.
Manage quick deposit bags, reconcile cheques, and handle cash escort services.
Qualifications:
A passion for customer service, with an interest in banking.
Proven administrative skills and attention to detail.
Strong time management and prioritisation skills.
Ability to work autonomously and maintain team engagement.
Experience:
Previous experience in customer service or administrative roles is highly valued.
Skills:
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
Capability to assess customer needs and direct them to the appropriate team members.
