Job Description/Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Construction Technician to join our successful department in a college in the North West. This role requires both industry experience and qualifications. The technician will be responsible for supporting construction projects, maintaining equipment, and assisting with technical instruction.
Key Responsibilities:
– Provide technical support for construction projects.
– Maintain and ensure the proper use of construction equipment.
– Assist educators and students during construction-related lessons.
– Ensure safety standards and protocols are followed.
Qualifications:
– Industry qualifications in construction or a related field.
– Recent experience in technician or construction industry work.
Experience:
– Previous experience working in a UK secondary school or UK further education and training college is preferred.
– Industry experience is required.
Skills:
– Strong technical knowledge in construction.
– Ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff and students.
– Attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
