Overview
K & J Services Inc. is looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused Cashier & Customer Service Associates to join our team at various locations in Edmonton and Sherwood Park, AB. This role involves processing transactions, assisting customers, and participating in a variety of customer service tasks to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all clients.

Responsibilities
- Operate cash register and process payments (cash, cheques, credit/debit cards).
- Scan items and tabulate total payments for goods or services.
- Receive payments and reconcile daily or shift totals with sales.
- Engage in suggestive selling and promotional activities to enhance customer experience.
- Stock shelves and maintain a clean counter area.
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their needs.
- Accept reservations or take-out orders as required.
- Assist theatre patrons with seat selection.
- Attend to hotel safety-deposit boxes and other guest services.
- Wrap or bag merchandise for customers.
- Weigh produce and bulk foods, assisting customers with self-checkout.
- Calculate foreign currency exchange for transactions.
- Monitor entrances and exits, requesting proof of payment when necessary.
- Verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products.
Work Conditions
- Varied shifts, including evenings, nights, overtime, early mornings, and mornings.
