Job Description/Overview:
The Construction Project Manager will oversee construction projects in urban areas, coordinating subcontractor activities, managing budgets, and ensuring quality control. This role requires both indoor and outdoor work, with flexibility for evening, weekend, and morning shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
– Coordinate subcontractor activities
– Plan and organise daily operations
– Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates
– Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and subcontractors
– Plan and prepare construction schedules and monitor progress
– Prepare contracts and negotiate changes and additions
– Implement quality control procedures
– Use CAD and other computer software systems
– Manage budgets, material purchases, and land acquisitions
– Develop and implement risk management and quality control programs
– Prepare reports and oversee data analysis
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree
– 3 to 5 years of experience in project management
Experience:
3 to 5 years in project management, with a focus on urban construction
Skills:
– Project management
– Strong leadership and organisational skills
– Ability to work in outdoor and indoor environments
– Proficient with CAD and other software systems
