Job Description/Overview:
Spuerkeess is actively looking for a Compliance Monitoring Analyst (m/f/n) to strengthen its Conduct & Controls department.
- Monitor and assess compliance with internal and external regulations and identify potential non-compliance risks.
- Establish, manage, and monitor the multi-annual control plan for the compliance function, organizing second-line defense controls.
- Identify compliance risks and establish a risk map for all monitored activities.
- Execute second-line defense controls covering aspects of internal governance.
- Monitor the bank’s activities to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Create reports on compliance monitoring results, analyze potential violations, and corrective actions taken.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure the implementation of compliance policies.
- Work with relevant departments to implement corrective measures in case of non-compliance.
- Stay informed about changes in financial regulation to ensure the bank remains compliant.
- Analyze the effectiveness of existing compliance policies.
- Create and monitor KPIs to measure the effectiveness of compliance procedures.
- Submit regular reports to regulatory authorities.

Qualifications needed
- Holder of a Master’s degree in Finance, Banking, or similar field.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in compliance with a focus on the management and implementation of internal policies.
- Proficiency in French and English; knowledge of Luxembourgish or German is an advantage.
