Job Description/Overview:
In the hostess role, you will interact directly with guests. You will be expected to dress neatly and appropriately to make a good impression. Maintaining a friendly, approachable attitude is crucial in this position. Success in this role will be demonstrated by providing outstanding service to drive customer satisfaction ratings, retention, and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests as they enter the restaurant and escort to their tables and provide menus.
- Inform guests of any specials or promotions and address guest inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Manage reservations and walk-in guests efficiently while monitoring the dining room for open tables and seating arrangements.
- Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists of customers in a friendly and professional demeanour at all times.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up and breaking down the hostess station.
Qualifications needed
- Minimum of 2 years of UAE experience as a Hostess in a high-end casual dining restaurant
