About the RCIP and FCIP
Timmins was selected as one of only 18 communities across Canada to participate in these special immigration pilots. The initiative is spearheaded by the Timmins Economic Development Corporation (TEDC) and local community partners to attract and retain skilled workers in key industries.
Unlike other programs, the RCIP-FCIP is employer-driven, meaning job seekers must first secure a job offer from a designated local employer before applying.
