Georgia e-Visa

Georgia, the charming country nestled between Eastern Europe and Western Asia, is becoming a hot travel destination for tourists seeking stunning mountain landscapes, historic monasteries, vibrant cities, and world-renowned hospitality. To make travel easier, the Georgian government offers an e-Visa system that allows eligible foreign nationals to apply for a visa online—no embassy visit required.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Georgia e-Visa, how to apply, who is eligible, and what documents are needed.

What is the Georgia e-Visa?

The Georgia e-Visa is an official electronic travel authorization issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia. It allows eligible travelers to enter the country for tourism, short business trips, or family visits.

There are two common types of e-Visas:

  • Single-entry visa: Valid for 30 days

  • Multiple-entry visa: Valid for 90 days within a 180-day period
