The Role
We are seeking a Medical Copywriter to join our new Omnichannel squad. This role is dedicated to maximizing traffic and brand awareness for a new content production studio for a leading pharmaceutical company in Toronto. The position is a hybrid role requiring two in-office days per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Compliance:
- Ensure all content adheres to local legislation, regulations, and internal policies.
- Develop content supported by authentic, up-to-date references.
- Manage the PAAB submission and approval process.
- Content Creation:
- Produce and update content for digital (e.g., banner ads, emails, social media, websites) and print (e.g., posters, slide kits, patient guidelines).
- Partner with the graphic design team to align on copy and content needs.
- Collaborate with brand and production teams on briefs, workshops, and project deliveries.
- Process Adherence:
- Follow best practices for communication, project management, and technical requirements, including language, grammar, stylization, and referencing.
- Participate in training programs and fulfill project-specific assignments.
- Engage in client calls as required.
- Quality Assurance:
- Ensure content meets quality, confidentiality, and security standards.
- Adhere to company policies and timelines for project completion.
About You
- Education: Advanced degree (M Pharm, BDS, MDS, PhD).
- Experience:
- 3+ years in an agency setting with experience submitting content to PAAB and making necessary revisions.
- Proven track record of creating omnichannel content for both digital and print platforms.
- Experience working in large multinational companies within matrix environments.
- Skills:
- Exceptional writing and communication skills.
- Strong conceptual abilities and a deep understanding of the digital landscape.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Skilled in networking, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in additional local languages is an asset.
- Other Requirements:
- Must reside in Toronto or nearby, as this is a hybrid role.
