About the Role
Randstad is seeking an experienced Software Engineer 3 to contribute to the development, maintenance, and enhancement of Front-End/UI applications for Social Services platforms. This role requires expertise in web-based J2EE/Portal application development within a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) environment using Agile methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Front-End Development: Design, develop, and maintain UI applications, ensuring performance, usability, and scalability.
- System Analysis: Study systems flow, data usage, and work processes to develop software solutions that meet user needs.
- Requirements Gathering: Participate in requirements analysis, system design, and testing phases to ensure successful deployment.
- Performance Tuning: Analyze UI frameworks and libraries for performance improvements and optimization.
- Defect Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, ensuring reliability and performance.
- Testing and Deployment: Use contemporary testing methods to validate solutions and provide technical support during testing and implementation.
- Technical Documentation: Create high-quality technical and design documentation.
- Collaboration: Work closely with team members, customers, and stakeholders to ensure development aligns with project goals.
- Production Support: Provide ongoing application support, including defect fixes, maintenance, and operations troubleshooting.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of experience in software engineering and application development.
- Proficiency in Java/J2EE and Front-End/UI development frameworks.
- Experience with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Agile development methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills with expertise in troubleshooting, performance tuning, and defect resolution.
- Ability to analyze systems and processes for continuous improvement.
- Experience in requirements analysis, system design, and creating technical documentation.
Preferred Skills
- Proficiency in Performance Tuning and Query Optimization.
- Knowledge of Front-End UI libraries and frameworks.
- Experience working in Social Services or government-related applications.
