About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Receptionist to join our Cairns office. In this full-time role, you will be the first point of contact for clients and staff, ensuring smooth daily operations. You will provide essential support to the team by handling administrative tasks and ensuring the office runs efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet clients and visitors with professionalism and warmth.
  • Answer and transfer telephone calls, take detailed messages.
  • Distribute incoming and prepare outgoing mail, and manage faxes.
  • Set up and prepare meeting rooms for scheduled activities.
  • Organize, clean, and maintain the staff kitchen and common areas.
  • Assist with catering, stationery, and IT needs.
  • Support file management, including opening new files, conducting searches, and archiving.
  • Provide general administrative support to the team as needed.

About You

You will enjoy working with people and providing excellent support while maintaining confidentiality. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities.
  • A professional, polished telephone manner.
  • Previous reception experience in a legal environment or similar is highly regarded.
