Position Overview
We are seeking a Web Content and Merchandising Specialist to manage the content and optimization of our online store. This full-time, permanent position offers a chance to work in a dynamic and innovative environment, ensuring the best customer experience through effective online merchandising and content management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage new SKU setups and maintain product data and images.
- Configure and test promotions and monitor stock for upcoming promotional activities.
- Conduct daily site reviews from the customer’s perspective to ensure consistency, accuracy, and integrity.
- Approve and monitor reviews, questions, and Terms & Conditions for product pages.
- Organize pages based on seasonal content and campaign links.
- Optimize page sorting for conversion.
- Track and report on the success of campaigns and product pages.
- Monitor and improve search results on the site.
- Recommend improvements to enhance the online shopping experience and boost sales.
- Create and maintain a seasonal content calendar, updating it four times a year.
- Develop blog content, including evergreen, seasonal content, and guides.
- Apply SEO principles to content creation and track success.
- Update homepage content bi-weekly and create other content elements for the site.
- Work closely with the marketing and communications teams to provide landing pages and links that support the activity calendar, social media, and stores.
- Upload local content to the global catalog.
Required Qualifications
- Degree or certification in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Bilingual (fluent in both French and English).
- Strong content writing skills.
- Knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO) principles.
- Experience with e-commerce platforms (Salesforce Commerce Cloud experience is a plus).
- Basic knowledge of HTML (an asset).
