About the Role
Drake Palmerston North is currently seeking experienced Warehouse/Packing/Forklift Operators to join a leading dairy company in Clandeboye. This is a great opportunity to be part of a dynamic team, with the role running until the end of January 2025. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment with key duties including packing, forklift operation, and general warehouse tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Packing and Sorting: Efficiently packing products and organizing goods within the warehouse.
- Forklift Operation: Safely operating forklifts to move products around the warehouse.
- Warehouse Support: Assisting in general warehouse duties as required.
- Health and Safety: Following strict health and safety guidelines and maintaining a safe working environment.
Skills & Experience
- Previous Warehouse/Factory Experience is essential.
- A current OSH Forklift Licence is required.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy items and stand for long periods.
- Strong understanding and adherence to workplace Health and Safety practices.
- Ability to work to strict deadlines and maintain efficiency.
- All applicants must pass a pre-employment drug test, medical check, MOJ criminal convictions check, and be eligible to work in New Zealand.
