Job Description/Overview:
CLdN SA, a leading provider of integrated logistics solutions, is looking to strengthen its Shipping Operations team by hiring a Fleet Deployment and Bunker Operator. This role is based at their headquarters in Luxembourg, where you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of a multiport ro-ro fleet, ensuring vessel movements are planned and executed efficiently, and coordinating bunker operations to ensure profitability and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, schedule, implement, and oversee vessel movements in a multiport ro-ro fleet.
Monitor vessel adherence to schedules, reporting variances and advising on implications.
Organize bunker operations, ensuring the quality and quantity of fuel delivered.
Coordinate the distribution of line equipment.
Analyze operational costs and seek continuous improvements in vessel operations.
Prepare statistical reports and assist in developing automated reporting tools.
Suggest performance improvements and assist captains in optimizing fleet performance.
Manage fleet deployment using software to maximize profitability.
Handle business cases and other tasks within the team’s capacity.
Qualifications:
Minimum Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience in shipping operations, bunkering, Ro-Ro, logistics, or fleet performance monitoring.
Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work well under pressure with a flexible approach.
Good communication skills and proficiency in English.
Availability for evening/weekend “on call” rota system.
Experience:
Experienced (2-5 years) or Proven Experience (5+ years) in related fields such as shipping operations, bunkering, or fleet performance.
Skills:
Strong analytical skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
Ability to think creatively and manage tasks autonomously or in a team.
Flexibility and availability for on-call duty.
