About the Role
We are seeking an Experienced General Practitioner (GP) to join our team at The Doctors Te Whare Hapara in Gisborne. Located in the heart of Gisborne, a city known for its beautiful surf beaches, world-class chardonnay, active arts scene, and fantastic climate, this is a wonderful place to live and work.
As a GP, you will be responsible for providing healthcare to a diverse range of individuals in the community. This is a permanent position with negotiable hours, ideally between 6-8 sessions per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide sound clinical care to a full range of patients.
- Work collaboratively with a skilled team of nurses, GP colleagues, and experienced administration staff.
- Support the community with high-quality primary healthcare services.
About You
We are looking for a dedicated and passionate GP with the following:
- Vocational Registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand, or working towards this.
- Sound clinical and service skills with the ability to utilise your expertise.
- Great communication skills and the ability to connect with a diverse range of people.
- Eligibility to work in New Zealand.
We are happy to consider overseas candidates and can provide support with gaining New Zealand registration if eligible.
