Job Overview
PSI Concrete Pumping is seeking skilled and certified Heavy Equipment Operators to join our team. If you have experience in industrial, commercial, or road construction, and the credentials to operate specialized heavy equipment, we want you on board!
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks.
- Understand and utilize Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
- Complete onboard logs and other operational documentation.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Prepare and file accident reports when necessary.
- Secure and manage special attachments for equipment.
- Operate GPS and other navigation systems efficiently.
- Use two-way radios and communication devices during operations.
- Perform minor equipment repairs and operate hydraulic pumping systems.
Credentials:
- Heavy Equipment Operator Trade Certification.
- Driver’s License (Class 1 or A) and (Class 3 or D).
- Air Brake (Z) Endorsement.
- Power Line Hazardous Training certification.
Experience and Specialization:
- Type of Heavy Equipment Operated: Concrete pumping equipment.
- Industry Experience: Industrial/commercial/institutional (ICI) construction, road construction.
Work Conditions and Requirements:
- Physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to work overtime as needed.
- Must own steel-toed safety boots.
