Position Overview
We are looking for a Copywriter to join our team and help us communicate our purpose effectively across multiple channels. The role involves creating engaging content for media channels such as press releases, websites, social media, and internal communications. As a key part of our marketing and communications efforts, you will improve our visibility and engage target audiences, contributing to the overall success of IVC Evidensia.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation: Write and edit engaging content for various media channels, including press releases, website copy, and social media posts.
- Communications Planning: Update the communications calendar with planned content and ensure timely delivery.
- Story Development: Build relationships to source, develop, and pitch stories that resonate with target audiences.
- Media Coverage: Drive media coverage and backlinks to the website.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the communications team to coordinate internal and external activities.
- Reporting & Engagement: Assist with comms reporting and suggest ideas to boost engagement across all platforms.
Ideal Candidate
- Strong Copywriting Skills: Experience writing for various channels and audiences.
- Passion for Communication: A strong drive for continuous improvement in communication practices.
- Time Management: Ability to plan, prioritize, and multitask while managing expectations.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Proactive and flexible approach to challenges.
- Interpersonal Skills: Great at building relationships and working with diverse stakeholders.
- Brand Consistency: Strong understanding of maintaining brand consistency and messaging.
- Independent & Team Player: Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office; media coverage and backlink experience are a plus.
- Bonus Experience: Basic knowledge of CMS, image, and video editing; experience in the veterinary or pet industry is a bonus.
- Willingness to Travel: Ability to travel to UK/Ireland sites and events as required.
