About the Role
Are you passionate about video production and social media? Shine Limited’s Social Media, PR, and Experiential/Activation team (Bastion Amplify) is searching for a talented Social Media Content Creator. You’ll play a pivotal role in crafting visually compelling video and static content for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
This is your opportunity to combine your technical skills and creativity to deliver outstanding content for some of New Zealand’s most iconic brands.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Head of Social and senior team members to translate client briefs into engaging social media content.
- Create and produce high-quality, platform-specific content for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Pitch creative social media concepts to clients.
- Manage the full content creation process:
- Capture high-end social media content using Sony cameras, lighting, and sound equipment.
- Create low-fi, authentic social content with an iPhone.
- Prepare storyboards, run sheets, and location plans for shoots.
- Edit video and still outputs, ensuring exceptional quality.
- Confidently lead client interactions, provide recommendations, and coordinate with suppliers.

Skills and Experience
- Proficiency in Adobe Suite, especially Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Lightroom.
- Experience shooting with professional cameras, lighting, and sound setups in both studio and on-location settings.
- Strong knowledge of social media trends and platform best practices for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and more.
- A positive, collaborative attitude and a team-oriented mindset.
- Flexibility to adapt to the fast-paced, dynamic nature of agency life.
- Motion graphics experience is a bonus but not essential.
