Job Description:
Sanders Senior Living is seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the care home’s facilities to ensure safety, functionality, and an exceptional environment for residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including basic plumbing, carpentry, and decorating.
Ensure the security of the premises by conducting regular checks.
Respond promptly to repair requests and carry out scheduled maintenance.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any issues to management.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in maintenance or related fields such as plumbing, carpentry, or decorating.
Ability to work independently and take initiative.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Experience:
Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
Skills:
Practical knowledge of maintenance tools and techniques.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Problem-solving skills to address maintenance issues effectively.
