They are seeking a Support Administrator to join their Welfare Team and contribute to their mission of improving the lives of those in need.
Role Overview
As a Support Administrator, you will provide crucial administrative and customer service support, serving as the first point of contact for individuals seeking assistance. You will handle administrative tasks, maintain databases, and support wellbeing initiatives while providing empathetic and non-judgmental support to callers via the helpline.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Welfare Team to ensure efficient operations.
- Maintain accurate records in databases and produce reports and analyses.
- Manage financial administration, including reconciliation and tracking expenses.
- Assist in delivering projects such as Wellbeing Talks, Health Calendar events, and monthly newsletters.
- Act as the first point of contact for helpline callers, recording client details accurately and providing empathetic assistance.
What We’re Looking For
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Personable and caring telephone communication skills with a genuine empathy for others.
- Proven experience in office administration and customer service.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong data processing skills, including the ability to input, extract, and analyse data.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Desirable:
- Experience in mental health support, ideally with a Mental Health First Aid qualification or equivalent.
- Passion for supporting vulnerable individuals and making a positive impact.
- Ability to work effectively within a small team and maintain privacy when working remotely.
