Position Overview
We are seeking a Warehouse Assistant to support warehouse operations, including inventory storage, product shipping, and seed processing. This is a dynamic role that requires attention to detail, teamwork, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform operations such as receiving, processing, and shipping products.
- Maintain and promote high standards of customer service.
- Support internal sales teams with order processing and tracking.
- Repackage products, update labels, and monitor quality data.
- Manage packing and shipping materials and coordinate inventory disposals.
- Troubleshoot shipping issues and track both domestic and international shipments.
- Operate and maintain warehouse equipment.
- Deliver seed orders to customers as required.
- Adhere to warehouse policies and procedures, including safety protocols.
- Attend relevant third-party training sessions.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of warehouse experience.
- Experience in seed processing operations is a plus.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal abilities.
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
