RedLegg is a dynamic cybersecurity company based in Chicago. We are seeking a talented Content and Social Media Specialist to join our team and help elevate our online presence. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Marketing Manager to create and execute content strategies that engage our audience and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop engaging and informative content for websites, blogs, social media, white papers, and sales materials.
- Tailor content for various buyer personas and stages of the sales funnel.
- Create SEO-optimized content aligned with our SEO strategy and targeted keywords.
- Implement a strategic social media plan across platforms and manage the social media content calendar.
- Analyze social media and content performance using relevant metrics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to produce content supporting our expertise and SEO strategy.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, trends, and emerging content formats.
- Identify content needs and develop a content roadmap for updates and revisions.
- Support marketing campaigns that promote services and events.
Key Requirements
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in English, C2 level desired.
- Experience:
- 3+ years in content and social media marketing.
- Proven ability to create compelling B2B content.
- Prior experience writing content in English.
- Skills:
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
- Familiarity with SEO techniques and content optimization.
- Proficiency in CMS platforms, particularly Hubspot.
- Ability to work in the US Central Time zone (8:30 AM CST start time).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the cybersecurity industry.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Familiarity with AI tools for content creation.
- Experience in tracking content performance and data-driven improvements.
- Proficiency in Canva or InDesign for minor design tasks.
