We’re looking for a Social Content Creator to help us tell our story across social media platforms and engage with our global community.
Position Overview
As a Social Content Creator at Canada Goose, you will be responsible for creating and managing content across our social media channels. Working alongside the social media team, you will support the execution of campaigns, content creation, and the day-to-day upkeep of our social media presence. You’ll help amplify our brand values through community engagement, strategic storytelling, and creative execution across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, and more. Your role will include social listening, competitor analysis, and measuring the success of our campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the social media team with content creation, scheduling, and posting across all global channels.
- Collaborate on campaign briefs, working with internal teams and external agencies when necessary.
- Produce and supervise content creation, including graphic design and copywriting.
- Measure and report on the performance of social media campaigns, product drops, and social moments.
- Track follower growth and social media trends, reporting on insights and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain and manage the day-to-day social media content calendar.
- Identify new opportunities for content across all social media channels.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, digital, talent, and regional teams to develop social-first content strategies.
- Monitor and source user-generated content, building strong relationships with the community.
- Engage with followers, reporting on social sentiment, and acting as an ambassador for the Canada Goose brand.
- Champion our commitment to sustainability, diversity, and inclusion through authentic brand engagement.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience managing or contributing to brand social media channels.
- Experience with social media analytics tools and presenting insights.
- Proven experience in creating social media content for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and more.
- Strong understanding of social media best practices and platform-specific strategies.
- Highly creative with a keen attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Experience adhering to brand guidelines and maintaining consistency across social media.
- Highly organized, able to work flexibly and reactively in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player who can develop strong relationships internally and externally, and work independently when needed.
