Position Overview
We are seeking a Customer Excellence Director to lead our efforts in enhancing customer engagement and digital transformation across the UAE affiliate. The ideal candidate will have a passion for driving customer centricity, improving frontline execution, and adopting new trends in the pharmaceutical industry. As a key member of the leadership team, you will shape the affiliate’s strategy, foster cross-functional collaboration, and ensure superior customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Execute Strategy: Lead the affiliate’s short and long-term Customer Excellence strategy, identifying new opportunities and ensuring effective stakeholder management.
- Digital Engagement: Strengthen the company’s digital presence with key stakeholders, ensuring the adoption of new trends in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Content Strategy: Collaborate closely with Frontline and Marketing/BU roles to deliver a clear and engaging content strategy rapidly.
- Customer Insights: Develop a strategic approach to match commercial efforts with customer segment value through predictive analytics.
- Team Leadership: Foster team ownership, provide coaching, identify development needs, and promote a culture of continuous learning and growth.
Qualifications
- Education: University degree, preferably in Business Administration, Marketing, or Life Sciences.
- Experience: Solid experience in a multinational pharmaceutical company with a strong background in driving digital initiatives and executing strategies at the management level.
- Leadership: Strong analytical and strategic leadership skills, with the ability to synthesize insights and align the organization towards a unified direction.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fluent in written and spoken English.
- People Development: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams.
About the Department
This position will be based within the UAE affiliate of Novo Nordisk, which is part of the Business Area Africa, Middle East & CIS Countries (BAMEAC), under the Region South East Europe, Middle East & Africa (SEEMEA). The UAE affiliate has demonstrated exceptional launch performances and aims to solidify Novo Nordisk’s leadership in the UAE diabetes, obesity, and rare diseases markets.
