Job Description/Overview:
The office administrative assistant will perform a range of clerical and administrative tasks to ensure smooth office operations. The role involves organizing schedules, handling correspondence, and maintaining office procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Determine and establish office procedures and routines.
Schedule and confirm appointments.
Answer telephone calls and relay messages.
Respond to electronic inquiries.
Compile data, statistics, and other information.
Order office supplies and maintain inventory.
Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems.
Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents.
Qualifications:
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
Experience:
7 months to less than 1 year of relevant experience.
Skills:
Attention to detail.
Flexibility, organization, and reliability.
Teamwork and client-focused skills.
Salary:
$20.00 to $22.00 hourly (to be negotiated), 30 to 40 hours per week.
Work Setting:
On-site work required.
Work must be completed at the physical location.
