Job Description/Overview:
The role involves overnight care for a young man on the autism spectrum. The caregiver will provide supervision, companionship, and assistance in a private home setting, ensuring safety, comfort, and a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor blood sugar levels (no insulin administration required).
Offer compassionate companionship and support.
Respond promptly and sensitively to needs during the shift.
Qualifications:
Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
Experience:
Experience with autism spectrum individuals preferred.
Skills:
Reliability and dependability.
Empathy and understanding.
Effective communication and ability to follow directions.

Pay: $16.32/hour
Schedule:
Sunday–Thursday: 10pm–8am
Friday and Saturday: 10:30pm–7:30am
Community Horizons supports individuals in self-directed programs, allowing them to choose their caregivers and services. Caregivers work directly with clients in private home settings.
