Role Overview
We are seeking a Performance Marketing Manager to join our team. This role will focus on leading and executing media strategies primarily across Meta and TikTok platforms, with an emphasis on team management, strategic leadership, and client-focused results. You will play a critical role in ensuring campaigns align with broader marketing goals and drive substantial ROI.
Key Responsibilities
- Campaign Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive media strategies that align with client objectives and broader marketing goals.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of paid social specialists, fostering a high-performance and collaborative environment.
- Campaign Optimization: Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of campaigns on platforms like Meta and TikTok, ensuring they meet performance metrics and deliver a strong ROI.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor campaign data, generate weekly reports, and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
- Budget Management: Manage a monthly ad budget of approximately $1.2 million, ensuring optimal spend and adherence to client financial goals.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the creative, CRO, and analytics teams to develop cohesive and integrated strategies.
- Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in social media advertising, particularly on Meta and TikTok, and incorporate innovative practices into campaign strategies.
- Account Strategies: Develop strategies for struggling accounts and ensure alignment with Clever Digital Marketing best practices.
- Team Communication: Lead regular meetings to review performance, provide feedback, and align on priorities and goals.
- Subject Matter Expert: Serve as a subject matter expert in media buying, ensuring best practices are upheld across the team.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in paid social advertising.
- 3+ years in an agency setting.
- Experience managing a monthly budget of $300K+ in performance spend, with a focus on lead generation.
- Proven track record of managing individual accounts with a $100K/month spend and achieving a 6:1 ROAS over three consecutive quarters.
- 1+ years of experience managing performance marketers (preferred).
