Position Overview
Dubai Media Incorporated (DMI) is looking for a Digital Editorial Manager to lead and manage our digital editorial team, driving the production of engaging, high-quality content across various digital platforms. As the Digital Editorial Manager, you will develop and execute content strategies that align with DMI’s brand identity and business objectives, enhancing audience growth, engagement, and loyalty.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership: Lead the digital editorial team, providing guidance, feedback, and mentorship to writers, editors, and content creators.
- Strategy Development: Create and execute digital content strategies to drive audience engagement and growth, ensuring alignment with DMI’s business goals.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, programming, and social media teams to develop content that meets audience needs and supports strategic initiatives.
- Content Creation & Curation: Oversee the creation and curation of digital content across websites, mobile apps, social media, and other platforms while ensuring consistency with brand voice and guidelines.
- Content Planning: Develop and manage content calendars and editorial schedules, ensuring timely content delivery and optimal resource allocation.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor digital content performance and analytics, using insights to refine content strategies and improve engagement.
- Promotion & Distribution: Collaborate with marketing to implement content promotion strategies that optimize reach and visibility across digital platforms.
- SEO & Content Optimization: Ensure SEO best practices are applied to enhance discoverability and organic search rankings.
- External Relations: Manage relationships with external content providers, syndication partners, and influencers, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- Compliance & Ethics: Stay updated on regulations, copyright laws, and digital content rights, ensuring ethical practices in all digital editorial activities.
- Budget Management: Oversee the editorial budget, optimizing resource allocation and ensuring cost-effective production and distribution.
- Monetization Strategies: Work with the sales team to explore revenue-generating opportunities through digital content, advertising, and sponsored content.
- Personalization Strategies: Develop data-driven content personalization strategies to enhance user experience and increase engagement.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Media or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience in digital content management, team leadership, and strategy development in a digital media environment.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of digital media trends, SEO, content optimization, and analytics tools. Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Additional: Ability to manage budgets, develop partnerships, and stay informed on industry regulations.
