Job Description/Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Yard Hand/Forklift Operator to join our team in Forrestfield. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling freight efficiently and safely while ensuring a smooth flow of operations within the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
Loading and unloading trailers.
Receiving and dispatching freight.
Restraining and securing loads.
Completing relevant paperwork, including consignment notes and manifests.
Qualifications
Current Forklift Licence (LF).
Strong knowledge of general freight handling.
Experience
Previous experience in logistics, freight, and delivery services is essential.
Minimum of 1 year of forklift driving experience.
Skills
Ability to work in a busy and challenging environment.
Strong commitment to safety and maintaining a secure working environment.
Team player with a motivated and enthusiastic approach.
Flexible and proactive in tackling daily tasks.
