What You’ll Be Doing
As a Bilingual Chat Specialist in CIBC’s Chat & Social Media Contact Centre, you will play a pivotal role in delivering an optimal client experience through online and mobile banking channels. You’ll provide personalized support by:

  • Responding to customer inquiries, complaints, and troubleshooting requests via chat and social media.
  • Supporting strategic objectives across Contact Centre, Telephone Banking, and Credit Card Services.
  • Collaborating with clients to build long-term relationships and encourage loyalty.

This position requires participation in the Agent@Home remote work program, ensuring you can thrive independently while meeting client needs.

Work Arrangement:
While this is a remote role, you must be available to attend your primary work location in Montréal within two hours’ notice when required.

Agent@Home Program Requirements

    • Private and Quiet Workspace: Ability to work in a dedicated, quiet space (room or office with a closing door).
    • Wired Internet Connection: Must have a wired, high-speed connection with:
  • Minimum download speed of 15 Mbps.
  • Minimum upload speed of 10 Mbps.
  • Satellite internet is not permitted.
  • Technology Support: Ensure your setup meets call quality standards.

Job Details

  • Start Date: January 13, 2025.
  • Hours of Operation: 7 days a week, 9:00 AM EST to 12:00 AM EST (midnight). Flexibility for various shifts is required.
  • Weekly Hours: 37.5 hours.
